Age limit
As per law: admission at 18 years of age, guests younger than 18 have to be accompanied by a legal guardian or have to show a permission signed by their legal guardian! see minors

Animals
Animals are not allowed onto the festival site.
 
Changes to the programme
The promoter reserves the right to amend the programme. Cancellations or changes will be announced as early as possible by the promoter.
 
Commercial activities
Every commercial action on the part of the festival visitor which is carried out without previous written permission by the promoter is forbidden.
 
Consideration/ Rights of the location/ decisional authority
So that the festival visit is a great experience with lasting memories, we would ask that all festival visitors be tolerant, considerate, have moral courage and to help in the case of emergencies. The rights of the location remain for the complete duration of the festival with the festival organisers and their delegated third parties. The instructions of the security company of the promoter are to be obeyed.
 
Drinks containers/ deposit
Drinks will be handed out in plastic cups which will be charged with a deposit.
 
Earplugs
It is known to the festival visitor that music festivals can present an environment of high noise levels. The festival visitor should avoid any damage to their ear or to their health so we would recommend that earplugs be used. They can be found at any official merchandising stand of the Melt! Festival (not at the artist merchandising) or at the first aid stand.
 
Fire
It is absolutely forbidden to light an open fire. Security should be informed as soon as a fire has broken out and even if it seems under control and seems to have even been extinguished.
 
First Aid
Medical service will be carried out by the DRK-Kreisverband Wittenberg e.V. Emergency services can be contacted on site at + 49 -172-903715 (mobile) or +49 3491/465151 (contact: Mario Alt) as well as via 112.
 
Food/drinks/forbidden objects
It is forbidden to bring any type of glass container, canister, plastic bottles, PET bottles, cans and/or special drink containers, your own food, hard packaging, cool-bags, special containers, torches, explosive objects or any type of weapon as well as dangerous objects onto the festival site. Non-alcoholic drinks in up to 1.5 liter unopened tetra packs per person can be brought to the festival.  There will be security control at the entrance to the festival. Security are instructed to carry out a body search. The visitor accepts this upon purchase of a ticket. Removal from the festival site can occur if there has been a breach against the legal provisions or these rules.
 
Force majeur/act of nature
The event will take place in the case of every weather situation as long as the promoter can be responsible for the circumstances of the weather. If there is a possibility of danger to the body or health occurring, the event will be interrupted immediately.
 
Information
Information can be found at many points. Security are always available and will ensure that they will give you the corresponding information to help you.

Liability
:
Guests are responsible for their own damages. The laws for protection of the youth apply. In case of loss, no replacement of wristband!

Lost and Found
Lost items can be handed in to the security staff or at the Festival Guide stand. Items which are not collected will be delivered to the main lost and found office:

Photography, sound and video recordings
Taking photographs in a private capacity is basically permitted. Only 35mm cameras, simple SLR cameras and mobile phones with camera functions are allowed. Cameras with a zoom lens or with video functions as well as recording equipment (MP3/MP4-recorder, dictation equipment etc.) of every type are not allowed. Generally all types of recordings without the explicit permission of the promoter or of any artist are forbidden and the publicity of such recordings will be dealt with a penalty. Sound and video recordings are allowed on the camping sites. 
 
Protection of minors
The provisions of the law to protect minors in public apply to the whole festival site. Children and minors between the age of 8 to 16 years old only have access once in accompanied by an entrusted person of responsibility or an authorized person (with corresponding proof).
 
Sound and image acquisition by the promoter
By entering the festival site, the festival visitor willingly and irrevocably allows the nonpaid use of his image or voice for photography, live transmissions, broadcasts and/or records from images and/or sound, which the promoter or their delegated parties compile in connection to the festival as well as their subsequent use in all current and future media (especially in the form of sounds and image carriers as well as digital circulation, for example, via the internet).
 
Stage diving etc.
Stage diving, crowd surfing, moshing, climbing onto the stage, traverses or similar activities is basically forbidden. Climbing onto the excavators is also forbidden. Barriers are meant to be barriers and not to be thought of as an invitation to climb over.
