The D.O.T.: Mike Skinner is back

We didn’t have to wait long to witness Mike Skinner’s comeback. With a tear in the eye, we had to say goodbye to Mike Skinner, who buried his project The Streets for good after one last festival performance in Ferropolis. Unfortunately, he didn’t say how, when and if he’d be back. Luckily we don’t have to wait any longer. Mike Skinner teamed up with The Music’s former frontman Rob Harvey. Under the name The D.O.T., the duo already went to the studio conjuring up songs en masse. 14 tracks and soundbites have been uploaded to SoundCloud so far as well as to the duo’s official website (inspiring video material included) altogether.

„It's like one of those buddy movies from the 80s where the dream is impossible until they both make each other see things in themselves that they previously didn't know“, the duo explains. There’s definitely more in the pipeline. To be continued…
